About the role
Society guards are the steady presence residents see every day. You manage who comes in, keep an eye on the premises and are the first to respond when something goes wrong.
You will be posted at a fixed site with regular supervisor visits and a clear handover at every shift change.
What you’ll do
- Manage the main gate and record visitors, deliveries and vehicles
- Check with residents before letting visitors in
- Patrol the premises on a fixed schedule, especially at night
- Watch CCTV where installed and report anything unusual
- Respond first to fire, medical or security incidents and call for help
- Hand over clearly at shift change and keep the duty register up to date
